If your 1948-1951 Ford Pickup still uses drum brakes, you may be in need of a replacement front wheel cylinder to ensure that your car continues to run smoothly and is able to brake effectively.
The part also fits on 39-41 models. The cylinder fits on a commercial 122 inch wheelbase, 42-47 3/4 Ton Truck front and rear, 42-48 Pickup. When replacing wheel cylinders, always use clean & uncontaminated brake fluid. 1939-1941 wheel cylinders are discontinued. Order 1942- 1948 cylinders which will fit 1939-1941. However, these must be used in pairs due to piston size change.
