Cup shaped socket used in the bottom of 1930-31 Roadster, Roadster Pickup, and Phaeton upper windshield stanchions.  Provides the pivot point for where the upper stanchion pivots on the lower stanchion.  If you are ordering new upper stanchions, these are already installed.
